My period usually comes out brown, and today, I started my menstrual cycle again. Well, what came out was red. I'm scared. Is this normal that my blood is red instead of a dark dark red/brown?

yes, it's normal, the color and consistancy will change, usually based on how well hydrated you are. You probably don't normally drink enough water, so usually your drainage is brown, perhaps you have been drinking more of late, so now it is coming out red (as it should)

If it is coming out red it just means you are passing it more quickly, mine will normally come out red like that after I have exercised and been moving around alot, but it normally is a darker reddish color majority of the time. I wouldn't worry about it, but if it really concerns you wait until you are done with your period and go see your doctor or even just give your doctor a call and they should be able to tell you over the phone if it is normal and if they think it could be abnormal then they will tell you that you should come in just to be safe. Good Luck!

OF COURSE IT IS NORMAL. THE REASON WHY IT WAS BROWN AT FIRST IS BECAUSE YOU WERE JUST STARTING TO HAVE A PERIOD BUT NOW IT IS MORE FLUENT SO EXPECT NOTHING BUT THAT COLOR. IT MAY BECOME A LITTLE BROWN IN THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD AND TOWARDS THE END BUT THAT JUST MEANS THAT THE BLOOD IS STARTING TO DRY UP.

Brown means that the blood is a bit old.
Red means that it is fresh clean blood.
Nothing wrong with that.
Just make sure you don't soak through more than a pad an hour.If you do, call your doctor.

That's normal. It's probably "newer" blood if it's redder than normal
