If Bush had killed bin Laden in December 2001 when he had the chance, he would have deserved a second term overwhelmingly. He chose instead to focus on his insane vendetta against Saddam Hussein, who posed no threat to America and had nothing to do with 9/11.
In essence, Bush surrendered to bin Laden. He cut and run.
"To sweep all 50 States, the President would have to do two things: Blow the Sultan's brains out in Times Square, and then walk across the street to Nathan's and buy a hot dog!"
-- John Spencer, "The West Wing"

Nope we won't hear anything about him while Bush is in office. Then when he comes back and attacks the USA again when Bush is gone; he'll be able to say "He wasn't a problem when I left the White House" and blame whomever is there at the time. If you remember there were 8 years between when the car bomb went off in the World Trade Center and the 911 attacks. Maybe that means that in 2009 something else will happen.
We've spent too much time and effort in Iraq and Saddam that we've lost sight of OBL. It's very scary.

That was the rumor going around back in 2004----The October Surprise would be Bin Laden being captured two weeks before the Presidential Election. Didn't happen then. Why would it happen in 2008 when Bush can't even run for President?

Osama Bin Laden has been captured and is being kept in that shed you see press members standing in front on Bush's ranch in Crawford, TX. He is saving the news for just the right moment in order to gain political capital. In the mean time he is being subjected to water-boarding. I have this from a good inside source.

Aha! opposite psychology, eh? notably sharp. enable me make helpful I certainly have this suited. you're saying that 9/11 replaced into certainly a ploy through al qaeda to assist choose for republicans in 2002? And for the '04 elections, Osama had to make helpful this usa re-elected the single guy who might proceed searching and killing his terrorist comrades. in spite of everything, Kerry supported a software of "concede defeat and run away", which might have allowed Osama and his minions digital loose reign in the completed usa of Iraq. Bin weighted down does not have any interest in that. Too basic. you're extremely suited. human beings did no longer see that coming. i think we are purely no longer as clever as you.

Bin Laden was the only reason Bush even ever mentions him is when he wants to scare people. Bin Laden is just some name Bush kicks around to promote himself.

Yeah he is dead. Got to love Bush's timing. Everytime his war needs a little extra boost, bam up pops Osama spouting hate towards America. Blah Blah Blah....can't see right through this lame attempt at fear mongering can you? Bush doesn't care about Osama, never has.

Isn't this the same song and dance we heard about before the 2006 election? It didn't happen then and it won't happen in 2008.

I doubt it. Only if OBL decides to release another tape, but likely his old @$$ is near death. Living in caves can't be that easy.
