Great question. I would have to say Lou Thesz. But in modern times, Dynamite Kid. The guy could do it all from 1980-1985. And it is sad he was injured so young. Benoit, the current wrestler most people turn to as great technically learned a lot from watching tapes of Dynamite Kid.
Also add people like Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat as two other modern greats.
Internationally? Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi were amazing during the 1990s. And those three in any form were among the best series of matches ever. And it is the style that ROH takes after.

With the big list everyone says Benoit and Hart some even say Angle. But I think the best of all time is Lance Storm.

You are damn right it's Chris Benoit he outpreformed Kurt Angle in nearly all their matches and he also was Better than Hart and the only reason he lost to him was that it was Owen Hart's tribute
I have to give credit to the dynamite kid, he is the main reason of what Benoit has become

I think Bret Hart is the G.O.A.T. As for current, I think the best technical wrestler is probibly American Dragon Bryan Danielson. Not a lot of people know who he is but that man can wrestle
