Maybe it's white because it is mostly Calcium... I don't know! It may not be Calcium but I do know it is toxic! LOL LOL

I am sure there is some chemical digestive reason. But me not being smart I have to depend on common sense. Based on that it tells me it is white so they can see it and don't step in it.

its yellow just after it sits in the sun for soo long it gets wihte
