It might be wise at this point to play the field. If he is that involved with his band that he can't bother to call you any more often than he does, that to me speaks volumns.
While you don't state your age, I truely believe that if he really wanted to be with you , he would make more of an effort to call.
Please don't just sit home waiting for him to call. Go out and do the things that you like to do, hand out with friends, etc.
Hope this is of some help.

Tell him that you need more than a few phone calls. Also, you need to realize that he was in that band before you met. He is probably at a time where he needs to focus on his career and that's why he doesn't have time for much else. You can probably ask him for a specific date and time to call and if he could send you pictures of the places he visits. This might make you feel a bit more connected and would not interfere with his playing. You could also have scheduled dates when he will visit you or let you come along on a short trip to a few shows throughout the year. this way you would see more of each other.

well I have been dating someone for 7 years that plays in a band too. It started to bug me too, when we spent less time together. I have a couple suggestions for you. One, since you guys are just beginning your relationship, you should talk to him about it and see what you guys can work out. Like maybe, have a date once or twice a week, depending on what you guys can both be satisfied with. Second, if nothing works out I would just give him up because I think it is too early to stress over and if you keep him longer, if he refuses to change, the more heartache you will get yourself into.

maybe u should go 2 some of his band's shows or practices to let him know that you support him. this will hopefully make him realize that you really care for him and that he might start supporting you by being with u more. however, it might be a good idea to take a break for a biit...absence makes the heart grow fonder, and ul c how much u rele r in love with each other by taking a few months to see other people.

Well, having a boyfriend means that both of you should have time for each other, and although he seems like a nice guy, you should just stay friends with him.

can't help you on this one.
you'll have to learn by experience, and it sounds like it's going to be a bad experience.
Good luck, we'll be here when you get back
