I agree with you, Hillary will be inaugurated on 1/20/09. But she won't be anymore worried about the color of the drapes than the men who previously sat in that office lol.

The drapes will need to be replaced along with the carpet, that old spice smell never goes away. Here is a little history of the drapes in the Oval Office.

FD Roosevelt Blue rug and drapes with eagle on the window valances

HS Truman Blue-green rug and drapes

DD Eisenhower No change

JF Kennedy No change
(At the time of his death, a new red rug with pale curtains were being installed by Boudin)

LB Johnson Truman's blue-green rug with Kennedy's pale curtains

RM Nixon Navy blue rug with gold drapes

GR Ford Pale gold rug with blue florettes; pumpkin drapes with gold curtains

JE Carter No change

RW Reagan Pale gold rug with sunbeam design (second term); Ford's pumpkin drapes with gold curtains

GHW Bush Light blue rug with light blue drapes

WJ Clinton Navy blue rug with gold drapes

GW Bush Pale gold rug with sunbeam design (different from Reagan); antique gold drapes

Pink satin curtains with Zebra stripe drapes with a Faux cheetah carpet. And, a whip and cat-o-nine tales hanging in place of the presidential seal. O.k, well that's what I would have.
BTW, what's wrong with interior decorating and design? It's good enough for alot of my male friends.

That's nice that President Giuliani will let her see the oval office as a gesture after the left looses in 08 and blames Palosi for the 29% approval rate she saddle them with with the far left hijack of the DNC

Dark Blue. It's very presidential. It's also going to be the color of the 40 States she's going to win in November 2008.

What- you mean the next president is going to hire Hillary to be the decorator?

Pink ones. That way she can remind herself of how much money is raised not to find a cure for breast cancer, but money raised to increase awareness. Or she can have red ones to remind her of how much money has been raised not to find a cure for AIDS/HIV, but how much has been raised to increase awareness. Or she can have black drapes to remind her that she stoped the first black president from entering office. Or she can hang rainbow drapes to remind her of how many gays refused to vote republican, even though deep down inside they agreed with everything, except for the religious rights stance on homosexuality. Who knows

LOL

Does the name George McGovern mean anything to you?

Hillary is the female version.

Unless she is a maid she wont be near the Oval Office
