Yes, the streching is normal and can be very uncomfortable...I did not get strech marks until the last week in my pregnaancy.... then they all came at once...the streching was more uncomfortable to me in the very last few weeks, b/c by then you are out of room and yet you just keep getting huge!!

My friend has the same problem because the skin round your belly stretches forching the scar to become more prominant.
Moisturise alot and you will be able to get it done again.
The orginal will be closed up but after a time, you will be able to have it done again.I recommend cocoa butter moisturiser from the chemist and batheing in Badidas.
It will fade quicker and your skin will be kissable again.
Good luck with your pregnancy Hun x

I have and had this with my previous pregnancy. If you want to keep your ring in get a flexible plastic one. If not take it out. I took mine out when I became so big it stuck out and got cought on everything. Use an oil such as bio oil to make the skin more supple. Sometimes I think mine will tear it feels so tight the scar but the midwife has said it won't. Just apply some tlc to the area.

I left my belly ring in until I went into labor and they take all your jewelry. I also had a 2 inch scar at my belly button from a surgery. At about 20 weeks til about 28 weeks I had a weird numb feeling in the center of my tummy. It went away.

As your bump gets greater, you may get extra stretch marks. My sister used Almond oil by way of out the entire pregancy and on no account have been given one stretch mark even however she placed on nearlt 4 stone! bypass purchase a bottle (from some kinda wellness save or internet) placed it in the tub, and rub in the floor whenever you are able to! solid success! x

I'm sorry. I really wish I could help you. But I got my belly pierced after I had my son. And I'm not having any more children. But I did think about that when I was having it done. I hope you get your answer. Try putting a lot of cocoa butter on it.
