Wearing a thong is your perogative, but if you are in a professional environment, shouldn't you keep it hidden and not have it peeping out of your pants, onto your back? I am in a business casual office environment ( not a tattoo parlor) with a dress code and one of the skanks here seems to think business casual means .. dress slacks, dress top and her shimmery thong coming outside of her clothes onto her back ( along with her back tattoo) I don't like the look even in the clubs but damn, does she not understand the criteria of dress codes? There are 4 codes and the last one we do not have!
1.Business
2. Business Casual
3. Casual AND
4. "I dont give a f_ck"
This is your thought, I personally am not going to do a damn thing! If she can get away with it then more power to her, I just want to know what your reaction would be if you passed a co - worker and seen this.

It depends on your body shape and the gender of your bosses. I had two female coworkers guilty of this...one slender with a tattoo of a ladybug on the small of her back, and a more heavy set young lady. We do a lot of lifting coin and getting on the floor to unlock combination locks on the lower vaults, so there are ample opportunities for clothing to get rumpled and reveal undergarments if you are not wearing a belt. Most of the time, the slender young lady's underwear are hanging out, and nothing happens. The president of our bank will walk by and say nothing, its been happening for over a year now. Her pants hang so low, I can read around the brim of her thong where it said 'victorias secret'. However last week, the heavyset girl bent down to pick something up off of the floor and her thong was showing and the president saw it...he marched right over to our supervisor who then marched over to the teller line and grabbed the girls pants and yanked them up in front of everybody....
double standards....
in my book, the workplace (especially a bank) is NO place to have thongs showing regardless of size...

People are still wearing thongs?? I thought they were so out!
Don't they give you awful wedgies?? Maybe you should go up to the thong wearer and do the old Junior high "grab and pull" for a wedgie...
No, too rude. And too junior high for words. Maybe you should sign the offender up for "What Not To Wear."
If that doesn't work, talk with your girlfriends loudly about the value of comfortable undergarments and discuss how a certain brand of "granny panties" are soooo in. After a few open discussions on the topic, the thong wearer might surprise you with a change...

Since I'm not so fond of seeing thongs sticking on a regular basis, I can only assume that I'd be disgusted to see this at work. Of course, there's the possibility that she doesn't realize it's showing. But if it happens a lot, she's trashy and doesn't understand appropriate workplace attire.

When I see those I take pictures of them with my camera phone. Wait to get her alone or a crowd it doesn't matter. Then show her the pick and say " Look at this pick my friend sent me, can you believe women dress like this"!! She will know it's her because it's her underwear. NO one else will if they haven't noticed her. But your reaction along with everyone else's might wise her up a bit.

LAUGHTER is the best medicine to the health. I am running a laughter club in our area.. I agree this is an artificial laugh. but when people gather together and start laughing, the artificial laugh becomes natural hearty laugh, when we see other faces laughing. really it is a very good for health with a little yoga and excersize included.

It's a clear sign that she believes in #4. But I wonder if she realizes that she looks trashy, not sexy. guys who see thongs hanging out think "Easy".

I would say nice thong and make her aware that her thong is showing. She may not be aware of the showing.

I think she should cover it up just b/c your busness sounds strict. As for accidental peeks I'm okay with b/c the other person doesn't actural know it's showing.

I think it is very tacky...the problem is that the others won't say anything either because no one wants to admit that they were looking there to begin with.
