I have 3 hermit crabs right now....I named them but have since forgotten what.....poor nameless crabs.

My friend did.. Her dad caught it on a fishing trip. She thought it was trying to escape all the time so she would keep pushing it off the aquarium plants back into the water... Turns out it was just trying to breathe, cuz it died shortly after.

We put some in our 30-gallon aquarium, but they vanished. We assumed they'd been eaten (it was a cichlid tank). Months later, we found the two, shriveled exoskeletons...YARDS away from the tank.....one in our bedroom!
Just DON'T ever put crickets in a tank (for food): they'll escape and you have to listen to them all night!

i had loads of crabs before. but they died because of the humidity. we will miss you jeffery
