will look at a person's profile, read some of their questions, and even review some of the answers they provide?

I do and it's not being nosy that's what they are there for.
Sometimes I feel a persons question is in bad taste so I look at their profile to see if all their others are and if so I just ignore them.
I can't believe some of the things I've read,there are some sick people out there but luckily the majority are really nice.

I do that, I don't care if it is considered nosy. We all put stuff out there to be read so I am not feeling guilty. Don't you now wish you could see how many hits your profile gets after people post their answers to this question?

When someone wants me to add them as a contact, I read their profile, and some of their questions and answers to get an idea of their relative intelligence and niceness level.
I don't think it's being nosey, I think it's being picky about who I want on my contact list. I'm not a prude or anything. But if a person is going to start e-mailing me, which I allow, I want to know what kind of conversations I can look forward to.

I think it's important to know who and what kind of person you are getting your answers from, so I definitely get a tad nosy so I can be a little bit more confident in a person's answer or suggestion.

I usually don't. I have looked when I read an interesting question to see if they have more interesting questions. I have had people do that to me and get all bent out of shape because of some inconsistancies. I like to ask questions to provoke thought and sometimes to have fun. My answers are like that to. Here I am going on but if I find the question silly I give a silly or sarcastic answer.

I do it often, that's why I'm wondering what your wife thinks of you being on here so much and asking somewhat leading questions.....I already know, you tell her it's harmless and just for fun....yea, I'm a profiler. hee hee.
I don't agree that it's stalking - it's public & out for anyone to view....it makes things more interesting....don't ya think?

I usually check that stuff out before I answer a question form somebody I don't already know.
