If it's a big enough issue that you absolutely positively can't handle it mentally, then you can get permission to miss the class. Tell your parents your issues and if they agree that you are fine without P.E. class, have them contact the school. There are alternative classes that fulfill the requirement of P.E. for children who are mentally and physically disabled.... taking written tests about muscles and bones and other physical education that doesn't include running around and undressing in front of people.

If your parents can't do that, then I'm afraid you'll have to resort to a long list of excuses. It will be painfully obvious that you are just making excuses, and they won't believe you, so you have to come up with excuses that they can't prove or disprove. (ex. no "I rolled my ankle" stories)

Make sure that you save your excuses for REALLY bad days... if you go too many days in a row of excuses, they are allowed to write to your parents to see if you're actually sick or having problems, and if they find out you're excuses are fake, they can fail you so that you can't move on to the next grade.

Toothache - this one is dangerous because it falls into things that they can check on, so make it one of your first excuses. If someone follows up, you can say that it was just chipped a little and now it's not as sensitive as it was when you first chipped it.

You had diarrhea right before class (always works, use in an emergency).

If you wear contacts (or VERY good at pretending that you always wear them): one of them has fallen out... if you leave one in, you get really dizzy, and you can't see well enough with both of them out.

You stubbed your toe right before class and it really hurts and you need to get some ice from the nurse (they will most likely want to check your foot... if you have goofy-looking feet like me, this one is gold: "wow, yeah, looks swollen" If you're up to it, REALLY stub your toe)

You can break your bra clasp right before class... nobody will make you run without support, if you're big enough to need it.

Those are all I can think of for the REALLY crappy days. Just don't develop a complex about people looking at you while you undress... go into a stall or just be late or early to every class.

The biggest part of being believable is making it sound like you really wanted to do the activity, or that you're sorry you're missing it. "This really sucks, but..." "I can't believe it...." "I'm having the worst luck..." If they're not taking your excuse, don't overly resist or pull another excuse on top of your first, because not only have you wasted an excuse, you've confirmed that you're trying your hardest to stay out of PE.

Don't be pathetic, just don't attend and explain your reasons for not attending, so that the school don't think you've disappeared. Do some verifiable and worthwhile work in the library instead.

At the end of the day you can and will do whatever you want to do.

This trick works for a male (females may not let u get away with it, but most do) p.e. teacher and lasts for about a week. For females only!

I have cramps or I'm on my period.

Break something. Or in my school, don't get changed (but you get points off.) It's not worth it, breaking any bones, or getting points off. Also, trust me, I've had to sit out before, and it is so boring!
