If you have a monogamous relationship, you might want to try an IUD...it is inserted and stays in place for up to 10 years. It doesn't protect against STD's. There are shots (Depo Provera); A sponge inserted before intercourse; a female condom; a cervical cap that also is placed before intercourse. Only condoms help to protect against STD's.
