06-07 season, their much maligned defense finished in the bottom 3rd of the entire NFL.
So much for defense winning championships, huh? lol
They have a QB that many said was a choker and couldn’t win the big game(s).
He now has a Super Bowl ring. lol
Many tried to dis Tony Dungee cause TB didn’t win the SB until Grudin came in and supposedly tweaked the team and then TB won SB.
I think TB would have won that year no matter who their HC would have been.
It is difficult for ANY team to have repeated success enough to win back to back Super Bowls.
It will be equally as difficult for Indy.
I don’t think they lost much with the players that are gone on O or D.
In fact, I think they may have a better D this year if the draft prospects work out; especially at CB and FS.
They drafted some taller and bigger guys.
Also, I think they’ll do just fine without Brandon Stokely with the addition of WRs Roy Hall and Tony Gonzalez.
If Gonzalez does as well in Indy as TE Tony Gonzalez in KC;
the O just might get even better.
Marvin Harrison can’t do it all AND he’s kinda old now.
The only real concern to me is, who will replace Dominic Rhodes?
Indy going back to the Super Bowl and winning it?
It's gonna be hard. Check out their schedule for 07-08. Whew!
I'm footing for them ALL THE WAY.
Last season was not a fluke; it wasn't luck.
Hard work; desire and determination. And of course, a blessing from the God of us all.
REEE-PEAT.

Uh...I'm going to have to say no. The Colts have the offense down, undoubtedly it will be good, but their defense just has no identity. They lost a lot of starters and players who participated in the Super Bowl, how will they be without June, Reagor, and both starting CBs from last year? Who else did they lose? They can make the playoffs without a whole lot of problems, but winning this time around might not be so easy as it was last year, where did that defense come from anyway? Random things like that don't convince me that they have a chance at repeating, especially with San Diego having almost no flaws and New England right beside them...I hate to say it but I see a 4th ring on Brady's finger in 2008...and it sucks.

Hmmmmmm...I think "No".

#1. They were under so much preasure to win. They might have a letdown year. But, Tony's smart and working on that.

#2. The Chargers, minus Marty, will have a more organized gameplan.

#3. The Chiefs, by some miracle, will replace one of the greatest offensive lines to ever take the field and Larry Johnson will not get beat to death by large men running through gaping holes in our line.

No. Why? Because a repeat has only been done twice in the salary cap era and the Colts lost a lot of guys.

I'm leaning toward no. The offensive aspect of the ball has no truly issues however they misplaced either one of their establishing CBs and their largest playmake on safety in Cato June. Those men don't seem to be with no trouble replaceable and and not using a robust safety they may not be goig some distance within the playoffs.
