My blood must be wonderful because they only bit me! What step should I take next? I really can't stand getting bit every night!! HELP!

this is the perfect solution........ go by a pets store (petsmart or sumthing) and get a flea killing agent called adams, its the best 1 cuz it smells good and it works well. get a shampooer and shampoo da carpet with using flea killing stuff in combo with carpet cleaner & kill dem!!!!! now u may want 2 buy lots of this stuff , but i tell u it works and its worth it.
do not i repeat do not use any powders on your carpet if you want 2 keep it in good shape. powder causes the carpet 2 bead and not look so good, plus it does not work anyway. nor does foggers. which i guess u know already.when u let off a fogger in the house u cause problems 4 nothing , like having 2 leave the house 4 a while and having 2 cover every thing up. foggers just settle on top of the carpet not killing whats underneith.
and it does not matter if u have more in 1 room than u do in another. the whole house needs 2 b treated equally, or should i say dont treat 1 part of the house and not the other (treat the whole house).

When I had a black lab I had the same problem! I know it's painful okay! What I did was I took the real flea drops the ones you put on dogs on my bed sheet or on the bed. If you can wash your bedding in hot water in the morning and put it back on the bed. Then put the flea drops on the sheet. So at night, you won't smell the drops and it will be dry do this every morning if you can. It depends on just how bad they are for to judge the how long it will take affect. you don't have to wash your sheet every morning in fact it's better if you don't because then it won't help because you wash it off to Quickly. On your soars from the bites you can put Germ-X or water-less hand cleaner, hand sanitizer. Which ever rings a bell! If this doesn't help by 2 months get a flea bomb you might want to go ahead and try that it didn't work for me but ot might you, if it still doesn't stop even with th bombs at a maximum I mean MAXIMUM of 3 months call an exterminator!!
GOOD LUCK!! be sure to use that Germ-X it will get rid of the sores I use it on ants and other bug bites.

You don't need an exterminator, just the right products. Test to see where your majority of fleas are coming from, use a plate with a few drops of Dawn dish soup and water in it.
Place a flashlight over the water at night. In the a.m. see which rooms have the fleas.
Do what all exterminators do and, pick up some Boric Acid Dehydrate at a Hardware store. (Wear a mask, for safety) Sprinkle in the corners of the rooms and anywhere they are present. I'm not sure how long to keep the powder down, you may want to research this. I have known people that do not vacuum the residue. But this is a chemical and I feel it should be done when no one is inside. The Acid will dry up all those little boogers. Be sure and test a spot on the carpet (to avoid color staining) prior to application.
Also they maybe outside so you may have to spray out their to. If this fails eat some garlic...lol

I had a similar problem moving into an apartment that had these two little fleabag dogs. I would wake up in the morning every day with little circles of fleas on my ankles. It was gross. We eventually had to get two flea bombs and set them off at the same time, locking all the doors and staying away for 24 hours. After that, we washed everything we could in the hottest water possible and we rented a deep cleaning carpet machine and vacuumed the heck outta the place. That finally got rid of all the fleas. Good luck!

get some borax 40 mule clothes soap and sprinkle thru out house all floors, rugs and even on furniture. make sure it goes down into the fibers. after about a half hour vaccum up. It dries out the eggs do this every week for about three. Cedar chips down the furniture is a repellant and so are marigolds.check for mice which bring in fleas. You also have to treat the outside of house also, plant marigolds and put down cedar shavings. And good luck.

You need to get a flea bomb and a good one. We have had fleas before too. its horrible, all the little bites all over your ankles. uuuuugggghhhhhh! We used flea bombs and spray. spray first and then bomb it should get rid of tehm. you might want to use some of the spray outside around the house too. ours got worse after we moved our dogs. The fleas are trying to find a new home.

I have a lot of cats. their not inside cats but they come in occasionally, for a long time we had flea problems. what u need to do is go to wal mart and buy flea bombs, one for each room u have fleas in, leave your house for a few hours while u set them off but don't have anything hot on(like the stove ect.) it will get rid of them for sure.
