Yes they are...however in reality all diamonds are blood diamonds.
Blood diamonds help prop up the prices of all diamonds, so in reality if you buy a diamond you are contributing to the death of kids.

They aren't fighting anymore but it doesn't matter. I suggest you do a bit of research on how diamond miners live. Even without war African miners live a living hell
