my period was due 5 months ago i have taken a lot of at home pregnancy tests and its always negative, i have been having some signs of pregnancy to (tired constantly, cravings, peeing a lot, nausea, sore breast ) and lately i have been feeling some twitches in my stomach, but not always in the same place it feels like it did when i first started feeling my son move. , also my stomach its getting rounder and bigger. i just had a baby 8 months ago and i breast feed a little because i mostly dried up, but lately it seams to be coming back. could i be pregnant but not show up on the test because of this or what is your opinion on this thanks and yes i have had my period since i had the baby. also my mother told me that sometimes when you take a pregnancy test before your baby is a year old it can show up wrong either false positives of false negatives because your hormones are so messed up from having your baby, is this true?

please don't tell me to go to the doctor because i have an appointment for it in a few days but i am looking for opinions and stories that things like this has happened to other people to. thanks

And you didnt go to the doctor 5 months ago why? if your pregnant you need prenatal care! Get your butt to the doctor pronto!

When did you first take your pregnancy test? If you waited this long than the test will show up negative. Once you hit 5 months of being pregnant, the pregnancy hormone levels diminshes....therefore, your test will be negative. I know you do not want to hear this....go to the doctor....the sooner you get prenatal care....the ensurance of having a healthier baby is greater!

honey with in a few weeks of giving birth your test would read again if you got pregnant. within days of giving birth the pregnancy hormone is gone. many women go in for their 6 week check up and find out they are pregnant. if you were pregnant a test would read positive. your mind is playing tricks on you because you want another baby, you need to see a doctor

I hate to say it, but you probably are pregnant. I've heard the same thing: pregancy tests that are not accurate due to the hormonal changes and breastfeeding, etc.

But you've already hit it ... you do need to go see the doctor.
But I did have a 2nd cousin who had her periods, never really showed and didn't even know she was pregnant until she was almost starting to dilate, and she started wondering why she was hurting so bad. She went to the doctor and he said she was pregnant.
She never knew. true story.
