I'm still trying to figure out how Volpe and Phoenix said more or less the same thing, but one got a bunch of thumbs up and the other got a load of thumbs down.
So maybe I'm not all that bright after all.....

Well, I would say on the top of my list comes Billy Boy- his questions are really intelligent, witty & very humorous. And they've a certain decency & dignity in them which is a bit rare to see here in P&S and that's the reason I admire them the most. And after you, there was another user called "DefenderOfTheMeek" who was more known as the batman of P&S because of his avatar, his questions I used to find quite creative, intelligent & clean as well.He was a good friend too. He has been suspended now but I guess he will back soon. And since you've asked only about P&S so I would limit it to just this category. But otherwise generally in yahoo, we've lots of intellectuals & since I move back and forth quite often between philosophy & other categories so I could atleast name a few and one is 'enki' from philosophy- his questions're intellectually quite stimulating and eventhough in philosophy the standard is quite high & things are pretty much complex, still I can say he somehow always stands out & his questions as well as answers often amazes me.

Pavic, i´ve find her to be extremely intelligent. Her questions are so smart, i´ve often found myself, simply shocked at how deep her level of thought is and sometimes not even knowing how to respond because there are some things i just never even thought of....so i just sit there for like 10 minutes trying to let the question sink in and then figure out an answer. :)

I couldn't really say. I mean, i find Marilyn kind of intelligent.. I mean, her answers are long but they are as smart as hell!
