A blood test is much more accurate and can get a positive reading much sooner than you can with a home pregnancy test.

Home tests are usually pretty accurate (and cheap too) I'd buy two different kinds of at home pregnancy tests and if they both say you are pregnant, you probably are. I'm pretty sure at home pregnancy tests are like 99 percent accurate, it should say on the box though. On the other hand, getting tested at the doctor/hospital is always accurate(if you want to spend the money). Good luck.

Home pregnancy tests are good but a blood test will give you 100% guaranteed answer. Go to your doctor and get one if you think you may be pregnant. The doctor tends to do a urine test first then if it reads positive he will do a blood test. Good luck :)

Blood tests are the most accurate and they also can tell if you are pregnant sooner than a HPT. The only negative is that you have to go to the doctor to get a blood test.

A pregnancy test will work fine once your period is late....the only time the doctor would use a blood test is if you keep taking pregnancy tests and getting a negative result and you're still not having a period!!!

Blood test is most accurate. But you should take HPT first, doctors will even do urine before blood.
