I wanted to go to a performance arts high school but they're really expensive. I decided not to even audition because I didn't want my family to be broke because of of me chasing some pipe dream.

yeah, i had to give my kids up cuz my ex was in love with someone else!!! Does that count? And yeah it actually did turn out worth it cuz now i don't take my time with my kids for granted, which happens with so many parents, and i'm happier with the girlfriend i've got.

Didn't have to, but I chose to at the time. I should never have agreed to it though, as I was just being manipulated by a paranoid and jealous man!
