They think that supporting the troops means bringing them home safely no matter what the cost. I think supporting the troops means supporting their mission.

Since you state no sources nor provide any links to support your claims, this is just more Conservative propaganda.
Ive been asking this of Cons for months: Can't you, for ONE day, just STOP trying to sell fear and hate? Just ONE day? Or are you all so scared yourselves you can't imagine how anyone can't be? I TRY to understand the rampant paranoia Cons show in Y/A, but there's no logical justification for the hateful, bigoted attacks on another political party which fights just as hard for YOUR rights as they do their own.
