Most pieces of software these days will ask whether or not you want the software available to everyone or just the currently logged on user (only to me). Unfortunately, I have found that this is most often not the case for games. What usually works for me is changing the account where I want the game to work to an administrator account (power user is enough if you don't need to install drivers), running the installation in that user account and then taking away the administrator right.
To change the user account to an administrator, login to the machine with an administrator account (the first user account created during setup - your own) go to the "User Accounts" section by clicking on Start, Control Panel, then opening "User Accounts". Click on "Change an account", click on the "Account name" and then "Change account Type"
Set as computer administrator, log in with that account and install the game. Once finished, go back to user accounts and set the account back to "Limited User"
This certainly does not work all the time, but most of the time is pretty good going I think.

Hope this helps.

When you install something sometimes it puts in the start menu for the user that is currently logged in. So under C:\documents and setting\ there is a folder called admin or whatever user name you use to install the game. If the other user accounts do not have admin privileges then it will not install.

Sometimes when you're installing something, I believe the program may ask you if you want to install it for just you or everyone using the computer. If that's the case, you may have simply clicked to have it installed for just your account.

If not, you may want to delete the game and try to reinstall it and see what happens. If that doesn't work, possibly making your daughter's account an administrator just for the installation and installing it that way would work.

Ok, without going too deep and trying to fully understand, what I think you are seeing is this. Admin Account which is a default account Your Account which is what you set up Guest Account which is a default account Goto control panel users and disable the guest account this should do it.

Usualy when installing game or program you can choose to install application on only that account or on All accounts on computer. I believe that you've chosen to install game on only that one account. Uninstal game, and then while reinstalling be sure to check this option.
