These days everyone wants to put it all on Catholic priests. What short memories we have. Remember Jimmy Swaggart and Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker? And just think of all those poor old people sending in part of their social security checks so that Tammy Faye's dog could live in an air-conditioned dog house.
In answer to your original question, I do listen to uneducated people. My mom, through circumstances beyond her control, only completed the 9th grade, yet she was the wisest and most talented person I have ever known. However, there is a difference between uneducated and stupid. You fall under the latter category. And "your friend" should be fired and sent to jail.

Not saying that I am for the religious right, I am a Bisexual man myself. But why do gays feel the need to be totally different from the rest of thier culture? Noone critisizes a gay man until he comes out. I being bi get flack from both sides, but on the surface I look perfectly strait. Gay pride and Identity is much like the goth movement it brings social unrest. Christians are good people some of which use the religion for good, but most of them are stupid.

Where I live, people are encourage to call & speak with their congressman or women, but the average person has to want to talk. I also fill out the surveys that are sent home from the local representatives. All you have to do is talk. Being an American starts with you and what you are willing to do for your country, if you don"t like the ways things are changing- you need to do something about it locally.

Some people do not listen to uneducated people. Uneducated does not mean ignorant. Common sense and street smarts are not learned in school.

"Is it true that people never listen to uneducated people .? "
Anybody ever listen to Bush ?
But what if the uneducated person speaking has listeners who are just as uneducated as he is ?
Is that is the holy cycle of Republicanism ?
______________
To Ben R posting above
I feel sorry for you...self hatred is so ugly
Why should people have to hide who they are to appease some bigots. The problem isn't with the homosexuals...it's with the intolerant bigots...and you sadly are spouting off their propaganda. How pathetic
