You found out that the REAL reason we are trying to democratize Iraq is not for the surface reasons like oil or power that people say...but to penetrate the "1040 Window"..which is a longitude/latitude coordinate portion of the world that has been entirely MUSLIM for centuries and its an attempt to export the GOSPEL into that region? The Muslims are fighting for their spiritual beliefs...and though no one would dare breath it in America...the powers that be are doing it to export Christian beliefs over there in order to bring about the events of Revelation. ***The first days after Iraq was toppled, networks like TBN were asking for donations to send satellites in there so these people could hear the gospel...not watch American Idol. The muslims are fighting our attack on their belief system, not just their women's burcas.

It could be, but, knowing what I know about right-wingers, it's more likely about greed, specifically oil.

But your theory is not only plausible (if not all that likely), it also offers an explanation as to why so many of these psychos don't want to do anything about global warming: They believe the rapture is coming and they won't be around when global warming leaves the Earth uninhabitable -- or that the Second Coming will prevent that.

Jesus said, "You shall not know the day nor the hour." And they certainly won't make it come any faster than God intends. If, in fact, that actually is what God has in mind. If, in fact, there actually is a God. (I believe there is, but the neocons should hope there isn't, or they've got some explaining to do.) These flakes claim to speak for God, but to act as if you think for God is the height of madness. Or would that be the depth of madness?

The truth is that the doctrines are very close to one another, its the practice of each that is very different.

1. I don't personally believe "conversion" is an effective practice. It brings to mind that "bring a horse to water . . ." saying. You can force someone to behave in some manner, but you will not likely succeed in turning around their beliefs.

2. Open doors and opportunity are different matters. If someone comes to you with a need, you can meet that need in a "Christian fashion."

3. Like most of the "umbrella" religions, Islam is no different, there are different sects within.

4. I don't think that our soldiers are over there trying to force any religion on these people . . . which section would they pick? Our people are too varied to agree on one.

5. Jesus is part of Islam, though not Christ, a very highly regarded profit.

6. It is the radical Islamist that wishes to convert or kill the infidel. If you aren't of their particular sect of Islam, that would be you.

Oh, I am sure that our President's completely illegal fusing of church and state plays some part in the current crusade going on in the middle east. Bush is so blatantly and publicly christian that it is embarrassing. How can a man who runs a country based on tolerating all forms of religion get away with ignoring the constitution by publicly funding many pro-christian endeavors? This man is very nearly single-handedly destroying the principles our country was founded on.

Who cares all religion is bull ship! Atleast they would be free to express thier preferance of bs. Oh and 6 % of Iraq is Christian. And not all Muslims are united in thier faith. Just like the Protostants and the Catholics.

I don't believe that.

You must be high if you truly think that we are trying to turn them into Christians-- LOL!!!!! What a laugh.

Do you not know that Muslims in the middle east generally put anyone to death if they aren't Muslim and especially if they confess Christianity?

It is never to late to re-enroll in school, sweetie...

I don't believe that is why we went.. but if it were provable beyond a shadow of a doubt.. I think you would see a revolution here in America.. using our Military to spread religion? Heads would roll.

wow.....i'd .....wow.

well, i'd.....hahahaha. wow.

the 1040 window is. . . wow. hahahaha

this is a great question. i'd think if i found out that to be the REAL reason, i'd start questioning other things, starting with gravity and the earth's rotation around the sun. i'd move on to whether water is TRULY wet. perhaps, it's just hydrogen's attempt at breaking the 'oxygen window.'; huh? huh? you feel me? lol
