Many different things, but the one I remember the most was in elementary school... we had forgotten to get a costume ready for the school Halloween party, so in looking around the house my mom found a nearly empty dog food bag. She emptied it, and cut holes for my head and arms... I went as a 50 pound bag of purina dog chow.

I was a cheerleader for the boys 9-12 year old team so I wore my outfit a few times. I also went as a witch when my auntie made me cool outfit with a hat and broom.

Well me, unlike a lot of little girls, always liked to dress up as something scary more than something "cute".
Some of my costumes were....
~ghost
~Spiderella (a spider witch?)
~an Indian witch (I wore an Indian dress (black and orange--you know the halloween colors) with "witchy makeup"
~Vampira!---yes VERY scaaary!!

A witch, a fairy, a hippie once, lots of things. My brother once dressed up as a scarecrow and scared the sh!t out of this one girl when he popped up as she was getting candy.

I think I only ever dressed up as a Witch to be honest. In the UK we only dress up as 'scary' characters... wheras I believe in the US you dress up as any character, scary or not?

I was a witch every year when I was little because we were poor and my mom couldn't afford a bunch of different costumes.
