Everyone above me is lying. Ballet is hard, but getting a body like a dancer isn't.

First thing you need to work on is your posture. Straight back, head and sturnum up keep your abs pulled up and tight in your body.

Pilates is a great way that a lot of ballet dancers work out.

Good Luck

This is the third time I've mentioned this on here, so I feel like I'm always talking about it, but the NYC Ballet Workout will give you certain aspects of the look. I don't know if it'll make you look like a dancer or not, because the only ones I know who use it are dancers who are just using it as part of their daily exercise, but the theory seems to work and you'd be doing a lot of the more basic ballet movements. You're not going to have every quality ballet dancers have (if you want them, dance), but it might help with things like the shape of your musculature and your posture.

If you don't want to shell out the money (it's expensive if you're on a budget): basically, lots of ab work will give you a strong core, which leads to good posture. Lots of stretching will give you long muscles. Eating healthily and getting some exercise will keep the fat off.

Good turnout is important, but less than perfect doesnt necessarily mean you wont be accepted. A lot more goes into choosing a good dancer, work ethic, poise, determination, musicality. I'm sure whatever you lack in turn out is made up for with some other aspect!

did you seriously just ask that?
look like a ballet dancer without dancing?
You won't look like a ballet dancer but you could be toned and healthy by doing complete ab workouts.

Without dancing ballet? Not possible.

Didn't you notice that ballerinas even walk differently, with more grace?

Do you mean male or female? Female ballet dancers are thin to the point of it being very unhealthy. Not to mention the lack of breasts.

I don't know why you would want to look unhealthy. Just eat right, exercise normally and be healthy. Don't try to force your body into something unnatural.
