What you need is called a crossover Ethernet cable. It looks just like a standard Ethernet cable, except that the internal wiring pattern is different. Make sure that both systems are powered off before connecting them together, though.

Place the computers close to each other, wrap 1 wire around both clockwise and the second wire counter clockwise.

you can't they will not talk to each other, two different software languages. windows will not see the mac system and the mac will not see the PC
