when you're talking to a co-worker or your boss and you do a "wet" sneeze into your hand...do you cup your hand and try to hide it until they leave or fess up and excuse yourself to get a tissue?

It happens, just excuse yourself that is what is expected... Don't open your hand and say wow that was some sneez, can I barrow your tie, or anyone got a camera? Im going to post these germs on my web site.. or reach out to shake thier hand, that is a real favorite...

I wait unless it's really disgusting, then I excuse myself to get a tissue, hiding the fact that most of the contents of my nose are now in my hand. LOL

Depends on how comfortable I am around them. Some people, I just wait and hope the snot doesn't crust 'cause I'm waiting so long! With others, I'll run for a tissue.

if you wait till they leave they might have noticed and then they just think you are gross. if you exuse yourself to get a tissue they will think you are a wuss but if you just extend your arm and wipe it on thier shirt they will know that you are a man that means business and are not afraid to do what needs to be done. your boss will respect you for this and probly promote you to vice president of the company. good luck.

You should sneeze into your elbow - that is the new sneeze technique. But if you wet sneeze get a tissue because it would be nasty if he wanted a quick handshake!

a quick pardon me, to grab a tissue, is always better then possibly dripping on something, or having to make an excuse to not shake a hand.....
