Ok, I don't have alcohol, but I do Have Hydrogen Peroxide... will that work? I have Sea Breeze also, will that be ok? Icing it reduced the swelling... I am about to go and clean it, so if you guys could help, that'd be great!

Peroxide willl work for keeping it clean...I assume that this is your cat that scratched you... keep a good eye on the scratch cause they can get infected rather easy. This is going to sound really crazy but please pay attention...If you should start to feel like you are getting a cold or the flu don't wait, go to the doctor. Several years ago my daughter caught something called Cat Scratch Fever!!! All from a cat scratch!!!

Hydrogen peroxide disinfects too. That's what I always use, I only use rubbing alcohol if I have nothing else because it stings so much.

hydrogen peroxide will clean it fine, but you need to put antibiotic ointment on it and bandage it for two days. you can get the ointment over the counter in any drugstore.
