Thank God. Unless you plan on reproducing, there is no medical reason to have your period.
I haven't had one in 3 years.

Some women have been doing this for awhile. It's the same as taking the regular pill and skipping the dummy pills. All the FDA did was approve a version of the regular pill without these dummy pills that they feel is safe to do this with.

Some women I've heard from about this say they are fearful of it. Does anyone know if this also gets rid of PMS?

In my opinion it doesn't sound like a very good idea. Messing with a woman's reproductive cycle just doesn't sound like a good idea. I'm even apprehensive about birth control pills/shots. That's just me though. To some woman this could be a God send. Women who suffer from certain gynaecological problems could probably really benefit from the new pill.

The Side affects are different for each individual. most people fear it, because they dont know anything about it.

I am using Depo, and I am fine. I have not gained weight, had spotting, or anything else. Just talk to you Gyno about it. It is easy and simple alternative for those live me who do not want to take a pill every day!

If I already had children, I would probably take it, but since I haven't had any kids I wouldn't want to risk it. I worry about fertility issues with this drug. I heard that a fair percentage of the women who have taken experience random bleeding...so that almost seems worse to me, not knowing when it is gonna happen, least right now I KNOW when its going to happen and I can be prepared.

I think its strange personally...I mean, women are supposed to have them so I just dont think stopping it with a man made pill would be healthy at all.

She started at age 8 & is overly developed, cannot

I think it is awesome, and that means I don't have to buy lotion for that one week dry spell. JK. But they said half of the women still had irregular periods
