I'm 14 and lets say I get charged for Bank fraud?

It depends. Yes, you *can* be held past your 18th birthday. If a charge is bad enough, you will be imprisoned until you are 21. Of course, depending on your state, you may be charged as an adult, in which case, you're S.O.L.

This will depend completely on the state where you live and the exact crime for which you are convicted. I am assuming that you are talking about a conviction and not just a charge?

In California, juveniles who commit felones can legally be imprisoned in the youth authority up until age 25.

These days courts sometimes charge teens as adults in alot of cases. Keep your nose clean.

Most states unless its a felony, wont move you to adult prison. If you had committed a very serious crime, you could be there right now in some states.

Bank fraud is a good one... Since there isn't any violence or malice, they would probably put you on probation after your 18th b-day.
