I didn't like shrek 3 cause it wasn't half as funny as shrek 2. Plus it was short. Don't get me wrong, it had funny parts to it but it seemed more serious than comical.

I liked Shrek 3. That said, if I were going to offer criticism it would be on the following points:
1. The Arthur character was dull and unoriginal.
2. It was not that different from the other two. Same ol', same ol'. It would have been better had it focused more on Shrek in court, a unique environment for him, and less on him roaming around like the other two movies.
3. Generally speaking, it was not as funny as the other two. It needed more gags or jokes or something. What WAS funny was VERY funny, but there simply was not enough of it.
4. More obscure pop-culture references would have been nice. That is one of the things that made the other two so good. In addition to creating laughs, the pop-culture references give you something to look for when the story drags. Would have helped distract from poor, boring Arty!
Aside of that, I enjoyed the film very much.

well for startes spiderman 3 was without a doubt MUCH better than shrek 3. i didnt like shrek 3 all that much. i agree that for kids it mustve been funny, but it kinda let down the other age groups who still enjoyed the first two. plus it seemed more like shrek 2 part 2 instead of shrek 3. my friends and i walked out of the theatre.

Spiderman 3 was awesome 'nuf said.
Shrek 3 I thought it was just to easy. Everything just worked out without any real hard fight or trouble. I meen Auther convinsed all but on villian to be good with a speech. How lame. I liked the movie it just was very easy.

I liked it. But the ending wasn't the greatest thing for me. I think Shrek and Fiona should've stayed in the castle. However, maybe they'll make a Shrek 4- King Arthur? Lol. Idk, but I think it's over for Shrek unless they make a movie about life on the swamp?

People need to remember these are movies we want to take our children to. Perhaps people are complaining because there isn't enough raunchy talk. I myself am very happy to look over and see my 5 year old grandson having the time of his life.
Take your children they will like it. don't forget Pirates opens this weekend. Poor Shrek he didn't get to stay #1 for very long because I am sure Pirates will blow him away.

I liked it. I really could have done without Justin Timberlake. He's a little whiny. I was hoping John Krasinski would have had a bigger role. He was Lancelot and only had a few lines.

Shrek 3 was great! It's a kids' movie, so don't listen to adults with no kids - for kids, it's great!
