I know for sure we need at least 1 day for MK, but how about Epcot and MGM? How long did you spend your time in these parks?

Magic Kingdom and ECPOT both need at least one day to see. If you have more time that would be better. There is a ton to see and they are large parks, so the more time the better.

Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios are smaller parks and can usually be done in half a day. However, if you have a little more time that would be good as well.

Have a great time!

Funny how answers are split down the middle about Epcot so think I'll explain why (at least my best bet). I personally couldn't do Epcot in under a day and a half and would much prefer 2. But I enjoy rides/pavilion's etc that are interesting or fun, not just thrill rides. Since Epcot is more about visiting other countries and getting a feel for them, plus the other area's there is TONS to do. And the fireworks are always amazing. But if you are a person who just wants a roller coaster, you are likely to not enjoy it as much and could do it in less than a day. It's my fav behind the MK.

So that said, the only other park where I think you have any shot at doing in less than a day and not missing more than you see is MGM. But that said, if you are a big ride person, that now has a fair amount of them. So only you know what you enjoy, so hope this helps a bit in deciding.

You can do MGM in a half-day pretty easily. As for Epcot and Magic Kingdom, give them each a full day. There's just too much to see and do at those two parks!

When we go to Walt Disney World, we usually do Animal Kingdom in the morning and then park hop on over to MGM Studios for the evening. We feel this is more than enough time for us at both of these parks, if we want to head back and either do something that we missed or wanted to do again, then we would go back for another half day.

Epcot is definately a full day, if not a 2 day park. I may be a little biased because that is one of our favorite parks so my family is always spending alot of time in it. What we usually do is right when the park opens we do Future World first then we have a break by eating at the Sunshine Seasons Cafe in the Land Pavillion. After lunch we head on over to World Showcase where I do my all time favorite thing....shopping. My kids are 6 and 3 and love Epcot, not only do they love all the rides, but they love looking at the park map and looking for the KidCot locations so they can do arts and crafts at the different countries. Also, each country has wonderful street entertainment that just amazes us. Then finally once dinnertime rolls around we have a nice dinner at one of the many restaurants at one of the countries or at Coral Reef in Future World. Lastly, to cap off the night we watch Illuminations with a treat from the French Bakery....YUMMY!!!!!! Man I can't wait for June.

Epcot you will probably need an entire day. They have that World Showcase and everything in that park is spread out so you will do a lot of walking there. MGM might take a day as well because they are heavy on shows and tours. I would recommend taking a half day and going to Downtown Disney. They have loads of shops down there and also Disney Quest which is a really cool interactive arcade type place. They have animators that teach you to draw, a cyber cafe, a place to build your own toys like in Toy Story. It is a great afternoon thing since it rains often in the afternoons in FL.

Have a great time on your vacation!!

If you do not want to spend time touring the World Showcase in Epcot, you might be able to do it in a half day. There's not really a lot of rides in Epcot, it's a lot more of interactive, stop and smell the roses type things. If you aren't into that, you could do it. Possibly MGM-Disney Studios can be done in a half day. There's some good thrill rides here, so if lines aren't long or you use fastpasses wisely, you can probably cover it.

Epcot is one of those parks that can be done quickly, or you can take your time and really check everything out. There are not many rides and you may find you are only interested in a few stops. The interntational area can be a great place to waste time, or you can just breeze right through.
We love Epcot, but we don't spend all day there. But that's just us. One thing to remember -- just because you are in a hurry, doesn't mean the rest of the crowd in the park is.

The Disney-MGM Studios can easily be completed in half a day. Of course, the Magic Kingdom will take a whole day, and EPCOT can also take at least a day or two. On my last vacation we spent one day at each park. It only took a few hours for us to do the things we wanted at the Studios. We went on a few rides, saw the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, walked over to Disney's Beach Club Resort for dinner, then walked back to the Studios to catch the showing of Fantasmic! We spent our first afternoon at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. It would make sense to do the Animal Kingdom Park in the afternoon and the Studios later in the evening since the Animal Kingdom Park doesn't usually stay open past 6:00PM anyway.

Hope I could help! Have a magical time! ºoº

You'll definately need at least one day at Magic Kingdom and Epcot (maybe even two) but you should be able to do MGM and Animal Kingdom in the same day if you're focused and know what you want to see.

I know my family and I did it so you should be able to do it too.....park your car in one park and take Disney transport to the other park. It's not that far and that way you don't have to look for parking twice.

Have a great Disney day! Happy travels!

MGM...being the smallest park on Disney World property can easily be finished in a half day as well. Thrill rides there include Tower of Terror, Rock n Roller Coaster, and Star Tours. After that...there are only shows or show type rides like the Backlot Tour.
