It depends on your tolerance. I've raced in 58-degree water without a wetsuit, 56 is my threshold for suiting up. However my mom won't go in unless it's 78 or warmer. Just listen to your body. If you feel cold, you are cold and you should get out. Blue lips, pale fingernail beds and shivering are signs you should get out and warm up as well.

It can be any temp, i suppose what you prefer. I will go in the sea what ever the temp is because i love to swim in the sea!

a good temp is around 76 degrees I believe any lower it won't kill you but you may feel a little uncomfortbale
