To find a percentage out of a fraction we first need to find the fraction as a decimal, then a to a percentage.

1) First of of you divide the top number (numerator) by the bottom number(denominator).

For example, when doing 1/4, you divide 1 by 4 and you will find you will get 0.25.

2) To change a decimal into a percentage you simply multiply it by 100 and you will come up with 25%

Examples:

*1/5
=0.2
=20%

*1/10
=0.1
=10%

*3/8
=0.325
=32.5%

For example 1/8 is one divided by eight: 0.125

it's easy just listen-
okay if you know how to "convert" fractions you;re good
so say you have 3/5 you have to multiply to get the bottom number to 100
so 5x20=100 now you multiply 3x20=60
so the fractions would now be 60/100 and the percentage would be 60%
