How do i get a boating licence in michigan? im turning 14 tomarow and live on a lake and i think you have to be 14. Like where do i have to go or who do i have to call or where can i get forms etc. thx in advance!

To drive a motorized boat you need to take a safety course. You can call the local department of motor vehicles. You can take a course from the United States Power Squadron or the Coast Guard Auxillary. or the Red Cross.
try www.usps.org to check on squadrons near you.
courses are generally advertised in the newspaper.d

go to your nearest secretairy of states office , or call they will help you out.
You don't need a license for the boat just a registration sticker that you attach to the bow of the boat.
But thay are the ones you have to go to, to get it.
