It is naive to suggest they are "too busy blowing things up to watch television." Winston Churchill once suggested that prior to a war there can be dissent and disagreement as to the legitimacy and propriety of a war but once it has been engaged a people must present a united front. I believe in the right to object to the conflict and our involvement in it even during that war. It is that right which makes this country what it is. But while objecting, one has to face the reality that our enemies are emboldened by that objection and any chance at dissuading them from continuing the conflict is immediately destroyed by the perception that at any minute, with a little more pressure, we will be defeated because we no longer support the possibility for a victory. Our victory in this conflict or in any foreseeable conflicts is unattainable when we as a people cannot come together in support of it.

At the top there are no "liberals" or "conservatives". They are all working for the same goals which is the establishment of a global government. Bush was controlled by then Federal reserve, Rockefeller and his cronies on wall street and so is obama and every other president since woodrow wilson signed the federal reserve act in 1913. Did you know that the big bankers tried to set up a coup and oust FDR to set up a fascist dictatorship before we entered world war 2? Look up Smedely Butler, he is the general they tried to get to lead the coup but he was a patriot so he pretended to go along with it until he had enough information to inform congress. The bankers involved never got in any trouble either which should tell you how powerful they really are. Its been the same families in charge of the federal reserve since the begining. They are essentially like the mafia, only more powerful. Politics is a big game of good cop vs bad cop so that the front men are the ones who take the heat and another puppet comes in to take his place while the same people behind the scenes remain and make the actual decisions. The president's job is to sell the decisions to the public and act like he's the one who is in control to shield the true powers that be. Once people start hating the president and he is "voted" out of office a new puppet comes in makes people feel the system works. It is more effective and sophisticated means of control than an open one-party dictatorship like they have in china. Its a two-party hidden dictatorship.

America is slowly beginning to realize the treachery of the liberal scum. Pelosi ,Reid, Kennedy ,Carter and Murtha will go down in history as traitors to this Great Nation. They will be spoken of in the same sentence with Benedict Arnold in the future.

The few smart ones do - that is if there are *any* smart libs - but it's more important to them to defeat America and turn us into a Third World nation! The rest of them either are too dumb, or don't care!
And we want *them* to run our country?

Yes...but be gentle..it's the last gasping cries of a dying movement...
Their Democratic Congress they fought so hard to get into place has turned on them...
No surprise though...they Voted for war...then tricked the libs into voting them in so they could secretly back Bush as his little closet Bushies LOL
What did they really expect from the flip flop party ?

Anyone who thinks our enemies aren't listening to the liberals and being emboldended isn't paying attention.
That's not from a FoxNews talking point. Just listen to what the enemy says. Osama calls us weak of will and refers to our politicians criticizing the US for the war.

I'm sure it's no different than the training the US provided to people like bin Laden that they are now using to fight against us.
And why is it that you will "support" a troop to go into combat, but not when he or she comes home? Is it that once your use of them is finished, they are discarded?
I think it's time actions are followed-through to match the rhetoric you so freely spin.

I would think that Bin Laden rejoices every time Bush reiterates his stubbornness on Iraq. Al-Qaeda is probably ecstatic that they can freely kill Americans in Iraq.
