Here's an example of what you are not thinking about: Liberals want the war to end Conservatives want the war to continue..... Wait a minute! I get it, it's what the party platform wants, not the citizens.
Polls ask do you approve of the war in Iraq, which translates into a majority of Americans, disapprove of the war. What if we ask the question this way: Would you feel good if the US won the war in Iraq? Of course we would!!!
Like Viet Nam, it's a lose lose scenario. If we win we lose, if we lose we lose!
I say, if they say it's war, let's make war... If you're shooting at us from a mosque, say good bye to the mosque (it can be rebuilt)! If you know there are insurgents in your neighborhood and you don't tell us, how about we don't tell you when we flatten your neighborhood!
Yep, it's a war, all we have to do is: Fight it like a war, not a riot control situation.

Funny question. Here's another: if the government thinks the war is so important, how come so few members of Congress and the White House administration have sons and daughters that are going to Iraq? When the war started, only one member of Congressman had a soldier kid, red or blue, liberal or conservative. Sure is easy to send our boys and girls off to war when it isn't their boys and girls going.
