Since "heart" is the symbol/metaphor used for love, empathy, sensitivity, I can't imagine why not. Do we have only one source of intelligence. i.e., mind, brain....? & if so, why wouldn't this include EVERYTHING? Sometimes I think we divide ourselves too much, like pieces in a pie.

We tend to think it a quality of the mind, but I believe that there is also an IQ of the heart since there are those of us who think with the heart. The heart's intelligence is special it's the intelligenc a mother has when she hears her baby cry in the night. it is also the intelligence a good leader has when (s)he advocates the rights of those society has forgotten and moves the body politic to meet their needs.

the size of the techniques limits optimal attainable intelligence. that's, a creature with a techniques the size of an bugs has no skill to be as clever as something with a lots extra desirable techniques. besides the undeniable fact that, having a extensive techniques would not assure intelligence. Many animals have extra desirable brains than ours, yet none are as smart as we are. there's no obvious distinction in intelligence between people on the subject of techniques length. a lot of historic past's genuises have had below widely used techniques-sizes. (alongside with, sarcastically, a biologist named Broca who championed the "techniques-length = inteligence" theory and grew to become out to have a lots smaller techniques than widely used!) Oh, and the declare that we purely use 10% of our techniques is an utter fantasy. We use a hundred% of our techniques. The branch of the techniques into "reptile", "mammal" and "human" is an over-simplification. that is not fake, besides the undeniable fact that it is not extremely that straightforward the two.

Michael Gelb in his book Da Vinci Decoded mentions [pg 148]:

Hearts's Energy
It might interest you to know that the heart's electromagnetic field is the most powerful of the body produces. According to Doc Childre, the author of The HeartMath Solution. "It's approximately five thousand times greater in strength than the field produced by the brain. The heart's field...can be measured up to eight to ten feet away with sensitive detectors called magnetometers."

So you be the judge. {Ad: Not to mention it ramificates to Intuition or Psychic Energy.}

I don't think so... I think people who may be considered unintelligent can still have a lot of heart. The first people I think of are mentally retarded people. They have the capacity to show love and "heart' and loyalty, while they are not necessarily able to relate to people on an intellectual level. Forrest Gump is a brilliant example... even though he is not real, his character is real, and he has a lot of heart.

By "heart", I'll assume you meant emotion. Emotions are sensations. As all we have are sensations so too is intelligence. "I think therefore I exist" was wrong, it should be "I feel that I think, therefore I exist". As intelligence is merely sentiment in agreement with currently accepted understanding, it's ALL HEART!

Enjoy!

I think so...for me, heart relates to love...

...n love has it's own intelligence...people think love is dangerous or not trustworthy, or it means naivety..but that is only due to erroneous ideas abt what love is...real love is intelligent...it can guide us and nudge us towards deeper growth....it gives comfort during hard times...something beautiful and very inner happens there...

I think that you're more intelligent if you can also take your heart into account!
