What can I use to get rid of fruit flies/nets?

Put about a 1/2" of apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar in a cup. Put a couple drops of unscented dish liquid in also. The gnats and also fruit flies will go to it and drown.

Put an old banana (and all your fruitfly prone fruit) under a glass bowl place it on a counter with one edge propped up about an inch. After a day or so all of them will be in the bowl.
Scoot the bowl to the edge of the counter and place a lit match under the edge of the bowl. Fruit flies are very sensitive to carbon monoxide. They'll drop like ... er ... flies (sorry).
