I don't know if you know it or not, but we as African American women are the hardest women to find the perfect shade of foundation. There is a company called Market America that I am involved in that has created a formula that allows me to custom blend foundations for any skin color, shade, or tone. I normally wear foundation in the fall and winter, but here in Washington, DC it is very humid in the summer so I only do bronzer. If you can't do without foundation though, you might want to try Fluid Fix by M.A.C. It is very sheer and light. It almost feels like silk on your skin.

Your makeup should start with a good skincare line that does not have mineral oil in it. That is an ingredient found in most cosmetic and skincare lines that dries out your skin. Please consider using a botanically-based skincare and cosmetic line. You can look at www.celestebenoist.myarbonne.com for more information on why botanicals really deliver results. Arbonne's foundations don't look like you have any on and provide the protection you want.

I love Mary Kay's foundations since they have conditioners and ingredients that "care" for my skin. The representative that helps you has been trained to match your skin tone perfectly so that you don't appear to be wearing a mask. Give one of them a try.

BARE ESCENTUALS ALL THE WAY!!! It leaves a finish so that you can't see it on your face. They have 8 different shades and if you go to an Ulta, Sephora, or bareescentuals.com, you can see the shades for darker skinned people. Try it because it works! Hope I helped!

I'm very dark and it's hard for me to find a foundation that does what I need it to do.
So far, Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown work, but Estee Lauder stays on better!
I love love love it! And your bottle will last forever cause you need sooo little of it!
Go and get matched, they have one for your skin tone, undertone, and skin type. and they give samples!
