I just downloaded 6.0 to replace my other internet explorer and it said there was already a version of it on my computer, so I need to uninstall the original so I can install 6.0

Why don't you install IE7, or ,as stated above, Firefox? Internet Explorer should over-write itself. Try going to the control panel, then Add/Remove programs. Go into the Windows Components and un-check Internet Explorer. Hope this helps.
