You are some kind of weird dreamer! This is the most naive thing I have ever heard. Meanwhile millions of US automaker employees are running out of unemployment benefits.

No, because an Illegal alien would not be able to work in a manufacturing plant without a green card, and a mexican citizen would not immediately get a green card right after crossing over.

The American auto manufacturers build assembly plants outside of the US because;

There are no Unions in these countries
The Labor is much, much Cheaper
In some cases, the Companies don't have to provide employees with medical benefits or retirement plans.
Cheap Land, Cheap Building Materials, Cheap Labor to Build Facilities
Relaxed Operating Regulations
Less or Non-existent Taxes

All of these things combined create less overhead, and more profit.

It's all about Money!

Automotive manufacturers started to move to the south of the border before we had a such big issue on illegal immigration mostly for the reasons on inexpensive labor, land and resources.

Bu the way, they hire qualified employees only (engineers, line workers), this is not the kind that crosses border illegally (farmers, etc.)

that is a entire disaster. Few Mexicans come to the U. S. as vacationers, and that they are able to get visas very fairly in the event that they are legitimate vacationers. Visa Waiver for Mexicans might only exacerbate the unlawful immigration mess. As for concentrated visitor worker courses, they are already in place. the subject is that Mexicans won't pass abode while they finished the activity. in actuality, as quickly as an enterprise gets them a visa and gets them into the U. S., they take off and in no way do the activity they have been employed for! Mexican perfidy has queered the deal repeatedly for many an prolonged time. And as for help to Mexico, the U. S. has bailed out that usa infinite circumstances, supplies them a ton of money, and issues shop getting worse. extra corruption, extra overpopulation, extra unlawful immigration. Repeating an identical movements and awaiting a various result's the definition of insanity. the U. S. needs to tell Mexico not extra money, not extra help, and connect your very own bloody usa. And yet over 4 million human beings - no longer of Mexican beginning or hispanic descent, recommendations you - stay in Mexico. some are retirees on very constrained earning who can not discover the money for to stay in the U. S.. some are working. some very own companies. yet all look extremely happy with their life there. truthfully if American-born human beings can stay fortuitously there, the rustic isn't the cesspit some opt to color it as needed to "get away." The pity-ploys, manipulations, lies and deceptions have become sickening. Mexico is the twenty 5th wealthiest usa in the international. The leeches have have been given to pass.

As much as i wish this was true it is not, the main reason US auto manufacturers have been producing cars in Mexico is because of NAFTA ( North American Free Trade Agreement) This allowed companies to outsource their work to Mexico and yes even Canada.

They've been there for years. And they're doing it to reduce costs, not illegal immigration. If they could pay the same to people here, they'd keep plants here open. But that's not going to happen.

If that were true, it would mean taht the auto manufacturers cared about Americans. Dream on. It is for cheap labor.

Lol.. oh yeah.. lets go with that. Auto companies trying to curb illegal immigration, right.

They are doing it for cheap labor.. that;'s it.. and bigger profits for them... since when do big companies give a rats *** for anything other than the bottom line.

No, they are putting their assembly plants in Mexico to avoid having to pay a bunch of whining Americans who want benefits and a decent wage.

In Mexico they can screw the workers over, and get their crap made for even cheaper, so they can pocket more profit.

Simply to reduce costs and increase profits .

It is this major retooling and investment in foreign lands that has caused them to report losses the last few quarters and given them the excuse to fire and close american works and plants .
