You don't love your wife and you kids in the same manner. If I had to choose one over the other: My kids would come first.

The special bond created when someone becomes a parent cannot be measured. I would die for my kids, I don't know if I could honestly say I would do that for a spouse. Kids are a part of you. A spouse can be replaced.

They are both totally different loves. You love your spouse because you choose to stay with them and they are the only person you want in your life. You love your kids because they are part of you and you love them unconditionally. They depend on you for nurturing.

It is two totally different kinds of love. You share your whole life with your spouse, but your children are part of your flesh and blood. As much as I love my husband, I love my kids more, and he has told me the same thing.

Who is going to keep you warm at night? or wipe your butt when you aren't able to? That little woman of yours needs your love in a different way while your children will need it in a different way.....Your children will leave on day and if you married the right woman she will always be faithful......right beside you....maybe until your a hundred and one.....

I read someone once, "the best thing you can do for your children is to love your spouse"
The children see the love you two have, and it'll show what they will look for when they are ready for a relationship.
