Why do liberals have fits when captured terrorist dont have enough copies of the new harry potter book but they are ok with american soldiers being immediately shot in the head?

I have never read any post by a liberal on here that expressed rage or hate over what al qaeda does at any time............

as a matter of fact, a lot of liberals will tell you with absolute certainty that al qaeda doesnt even exist and that somehow bush ordered the attack on new york.............are these the same people who dont believe the holocaust ever happened?

Who said it was okay for terrorists to kill Americans? Nobody. It is not right when either side does it. We are better than the terrorists, (at least, liberals are.)
"I have never read...." First, I have seen them. Second, it is kind of obvious. You do not need to state that killing is wrong, everyone knows that, (at least, I thought they did.)
Believing that terrorists don't exist is not a liberal philosophy. It is a nut job philosophy. There may be liberals that are nut jobs, but there are also plenty of conservatives that are.

I read through some of the answers first and to defend the asker of this question I will say this. He is not saying that it is OK for us to kill the captives. He is asking why Liberals aren't as publicly outraged about DEAD AMERICAN CAPTIVES as they are for Taliban and Al Qaeda ones? I don't have the answer for I am disgusted by the actions of a bunch of murders claiming to be 'Fighters of Allah'.

Its a double standard. We have to be the best and most moral. Take the high ground. While our enemy's are slipping into this country through our unsecure boarders. About 30% of the US Mulsim residents support suicide bombings based on the Yahoo story yesterday. So look for suicide bombings at a store near you.

According to liberals, the execution of "infidels" by Islamic terrorists is a religious right for them to pactice their religion. That is what they have indicated throughout most of the war on terror.
But then again, if Islamic terrorists can practice their religion, why is it wrong for Judeo-Christians to practice their religion?
The point here is that liberalism is a contrary philosophy and all the way through, it promote all those who help eliminate the "infidels of liberalism".

Nobody, certainly no liberal, has ever said that killing captured US soldiers was all right. The reason we don't do it is because we're the good guys. Yes, it really is as simple as that.

I do not care if, in a way to gather intelligence, suspected terrorists are kept awake, kept away from the Quran or Koran or however it is spelled, do not care if some woman laughs at their phallus, do not care....do not care.
I have not heard about a suspected terrorist being killed as of yet, while in U.S. custody. Go figure!

do you really think we are ok with our boys being shot? of course not.. and I don't know about making sure they get a harry potter book.. but basic human rights (food/shelter/clothing and not being tortured) are the signs of a civil society.. do you really want to BECOME just like the terrorists? our civility is what separates us from those beasts.

Who the hell said anybody was okay with American soldiers being shot? That's a damn lie.
The reason all prisoners should have rights (legal rights to fair trials, not harry potter books) is because Americans believe everyone should have such rights. If we deny them to them, how can we complain when they do it to us? How can we say it's unfair how they treat our soldiers if we do the same to theirs?
What really scares me is that someone has to explain these fundamental priniciples to you.
By your logic, we'd be justified in committing terrorism against them by blowing up their children in car bombs - but we could still complain about how evil terrorism is! If we're fighting against injustice, we have to uphold justice.
