When I was young I use to put butter and sugar on my bread. I would lay the toaster sideways to toast it. My aunt really fussed about the mess it made :) but it was good.

I keep it on broil. Crappy toaster oven that burns except when it's used for broiling.

Bread with butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Makes great garlic bread/toast..
