I've lost respect for the policy towards iraq. The allies will come back around after the Bush regime is gone from power.

None. The US started losing the world's respect back in the 70s. By the 21st Century, it was a memory. The Iraq War has lost the US what little sympathy it garnered from 9/11, however.

There was a recent poll in Time Magazine asking people around the world if they had a positive view of the US. Only India and the Philippines viewed us favorably.

Under Bush the US has gone from a country that was admired and respected around the world to one that's hated and feared.

More were simply afraid we'd find the proof they were breaking the UN arms embargo and corrupting the UN oil for food program. (We did.) France primarily, with Germany and Russia having fewer deals. France hasn't really been an ally in 30 yrs (though it's usually their messes we're cleaning up), Germany had an idiot in charge at the time and Russia is Russia.

After 9/11, we had almost the entire world on our side.

Bush squandered that on a crusade when "God" told him to invade Iraq. Now, no one respects us.

Not as many as those whom we have lost respect for because they are not supporting the liberation and stabilization of Iraq.

i would say most of our allies have lost respect for this government.. hopefully not for America.

how many laughed at the president of the united states as he was playing hide and seek with a cigar and getting a blowj ob in the oval office and then proceeded to lie to the american public on television that i am sure was seen around the world. gee, wonder what they thought of our presidents integrity then? ya, we lost a lot of good friends in during that calamity......
