I'm not sure where to find stats, but many of us who are lost in rural America still have to fight our way through dial-up. Some places still do not have access to broadband and cannot be reached via cable. That's why most of us country folk have anger management problems. LOL!

2005 is probably the most recent info you'll find. I do know, though, that both sets of my grandparents use dial-up.

Many people use dial up connections now too. In places such as UAE, Oman etc (middle east). Even I had it 1 year ago.

Good question. I think there are many people who live in areas that don't allow for high speed connections... simply behind in the technology.

There are still people on dial up or you would not see advertising on the tube for PEOPLE PC or NETZERO.
