You are almost done and you are lugging around alot of extra weight, so expect to be tired. I would say for more energy drink some orange juice. Have your dr check your iron levels if its of a concern to you because when you are low on iron it can cause you to be extremly tired.
As hard as it is, get up and go for a walk, you may be tired afterwards but it will help your heart get pumping and help you have more energy.
If you are having braxton hicks contractions they can make you tired depending on how often you have them.
Pregnancy is not easy on your body...some would disagree with me on that, but its true, if a mans body went thru what we women go thru during pregnancy, labor and delivery it would damn near kill them. They have no idea.
Dont over-do anything tho, if you are tired you should rest, if your hungry eat.... but do try to get your blood flowing, it will help.
Also when you get 'too-much' sleep...yes there is such a thing, it causes your body to be tired even if you are fully rested.

You are entering into the last stages of your pregnancy and the baby is using up your energy and resources. The extra weight you are carrying around is making it more difficult to do things, therefore, making you more and more tired. Get as much rest as you can now. I felt the same way when I was 35-37 weeks pregnant, but now that I am 39 weeks pregnant, I have lots of energy.

I am the same way every once in a while I'll get a burst of energy but its been more sleepy than anything. I haven't really found anything to give me more energy. I think our bodies just want sleep and that's is that.

Sleep now, because in a few weeks, you will never sleep soundly again. Even when the kid is grown and out of the house, you'll still worry and wonder, and then there are the grandkids to worry about and allll the fun stuff that will make you lay awake at night and worry. So SLEEEP!!

Your body is preparing itself for the impending sleepless nights. Upon delivery, along with the surge of hormones to recover and nurse your baby, your body will produce a dose of epinephrine to give you energy. For now, there's nothing you can do. I forced myself to walk around the block, but still with two pregnancies, I could not fight the sleepiness. So I slept slept slept. Take advantage of the time to yourself. Be thankful that you are getting sleep now before the baby arrives. Good luck.

I say if you can get sleep, do it. As soon as the baby arrives you won't be getting a full nights sleep. You'll be lucky if you get two straight hours. So sleep up so when it comes time to deliver your body won't be exhausted.
