I saw something about that on 20/20 or Dateline or one of those shows about 10 or 15 years ago. There were a bunch of people who had ceremonies and invited their friends to celebrate their commitment to themselves. Personally, I think you should just take yourself to Vegas.

I don't think thats possible but you can always have a small private service(only you in attendance) and commit to yourself. OR you can save the time and just shack up with yourself
