"Marijuana will cause lung cancer" and "will cause cell degradation." Do you think it's time to drop the class? Why won't people do their homework about the drug instead of spreading around false propaganda?

He wasn't joking.. don't get me wrong.. I'm not trying to run your life or tell you how to live it.. I don't care what you do.. just give me the same respect. But all smoke can cause lung cancer.. no matter where it comes from.. wood, pot, tobacco.. some have more carcinogens than others.. but they all do damage. THC itself can slow (with extreme use over a long period of time) your mental functioning.. it doesn't to everyone but it does to many... that classifies as degradation of cells.

In the end he didn't lie to you.. he just said a few facts and you heard what you didn't want to hear.

These are the findings of psychologists after many years of research!!! So what part of it do you think is false..........
ANY DRUG is not good for a person!!! Once a person does their 'homework' - they will discover the same facts!
Only people on drugs argue with the results... because they have taken drugs for so long the drugs have taken over their life and they can't think for themselves anymore.
If you doubt these findings then look at a lung xray from someone who's smoked marijuana for years and years and then look at an xray for a 'pot' heads' brain cells before and after prolonged marijuana usage....................................

If he/she said "will cause," then yes, I think he/she is a lousy professor. My opinion has nothing to do with my thoughts on marijuana, but a psych professer should be saying "there is a correlation between..." instead of "will cause."

Inhaling smoke is bad for the lungs.

You want to drop a class because your professor said something demonstrably true?

Yeah, well. Just like any other smoking, pot does leave tar in your lungs. A lot more per joint than ciggies. That being said, i don't know that many people who smoke 20-40 joints per day, lol.
